The Royal Couple

About the work

Translating Personal Narrative into Spatial Art

This large-scale installation was commissioned as the centerpiece for a private vow-renewal reception, capturing the union of a couple where body and heart are interwoven.

Bridging the worlds of architecture, design, and event production, the structure features figures with arms extending outward as mirror images, embracing both the crowd and the environment. The sculpture projects a powerful yet gentle and sensitive design, featuring an engineered wood and metal framework finished with a meticulous rattan cladding that resembles intricate jewelry lace.

Bringing a personal vow into physical form required balancing heavy engineering with the delicacy of woven lace—proving that even the most massive structures can hold a deeply intimate human story
