A rolling wave of a body, a powerful head, graphic patterning drawn from the sea and from contemporary folklore. She belongs outdoors: parades, festivals, open-air events, city squares. Wherever she lands there's a sense of flow and celebration, and a very clear presence. People gather around her. They photograph her. They come closer to see what she is. A visual anchor for the whole event.
