The Royal Couple

This enormous undertaking was created and commissioned for a private renewal-of-vows reception. The premise was to commemorate the consecrated moment when a devoted couple exchanges their vows. The sculpture portrays the lovers' union displaying the encounter in which the body and heart are interwoven. 

 

The couple's arms are extended outward on either side, and serve as a mirror image of each other while they embrace the crowd and embrace life. The images are almost tribal-like, presented as though clad in armor, exhibiting strength and eternity.
