Grandfather

Grandfather was our first sculpture at the Midburn Festival in 2014. It was a larger-than-life sculpture depicting an old man, leaning on a cane in the middle of the vast desert. The premise of the piece is to represent the cycle of life from birth and infancy and up to adulthood and old age. We set out to create an homage as a tribute and appreciation of the elderly, whose wisdom is eternal and timeless
